Zhengzhou, China – February 15, 2016, Zhengzhou Granlen PharmaTech, Ltd., a Division of
Granlen, Inc. in San Diego, CA, USA, will present newly discovered Continued Equality at 251th
ACS National Meeting.
“We are pleased for the recognition and selection by ACS Meeting Committee. The Continued
Equality is inclusive of all current basic theories of the ideal gas, therefore, becomes a
breakthrough discovery on thermodynamics and expected to promote further advancement of
current theories and create innovation opportunity.” said Haoyun (Harry) An, Ph. D., National
“1000 Talents” Awardee, Founder and President, Granlen. “We appreciate the opportunity to share
what we discovered after years of effort.” said Mr. Xiaowu Yao, the Chief Investigator.

Abstract: Gay Lussac-Joule’s Law established the fundamental base and has played a very
important role for the development of thermodynamics and related basic sciences. Detail
experiment reported herein revealed that the internal energy of ideal gas has interrelationship with
each state function, and the Continued Equality was then established as:
The Continued Equality derived through experiment is inclusive of free expansion and the
experimental result obtained by Rossini-Frandsen. Twelve differential equations were obtained
through theoretical derivation from various respects, and the twelve differential equations then
resulted in the same Continued Equality through substitution. The Continued Equality derived
herein experimentally and theoretically defined the interrelationship of internal energy of an ideal
gas system with each state function. It is the new addition to the current thermodynamics and
related basic theories, and the new addition will promote further development of current theories
and trigger broad applications.
